Contracts Training
This class was designed as a result of the many questions and quite frankly the legal problems associated with poorly written contracts. Our office has seen many litigated claims due to the contracts that were not written with language to prevent litigation from the many aspects of work under a contract.
By educating on the different types of contracts and the correct language to be used in a contract, we are able to ensure that we are limiting our exposure to contract liability, and still getting the work that we require completed timely and efficiently.
We present the correct language for hold harmless agreement, how to determine limits for the policy on exposure, what to request from the contractor regarding workers compensation insurance, and what we will cover in the event of a loss.
This is a very informative and educational class that many have requested and left thanking us for informing them of the high level of exposure we have in any contract with outside venders, contractors and private employers.
